We inform you that Barcelona Mobile Ventures, S.L. (hereinafter “BMV”) is a commercial enterprise fully owned by MWCB whose purpose is to promote and diffuse subjects related to innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer. Protecting your privacy and the rights that derive from it is of vital importance both to us and to you. For this reason, accessing our website does not mean that you are under any obligation to provide us with any information. Furthermore, if you decide to provide us with personal details via this website, said details shall be used (or processed) in accordance with the principles and restrictions established in Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter “LOPD”) and Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, implementing the regulations relating to said Law (hereinafter “RLOPD”).
The type of data we collect
We only request your e-mail address on the Website in order to register you on our Newsletter Signup Form and handle your personal information for the purposes described below.
Remember that any fields marked with an (*) are compulsory in order to validate your registration and process your details correctly.
We do not request any information considered sensitive data under current regulations.
Why we collect your data
As we have stated above, we may collect your personal information on this site by means of the “Newsletter Signup Form” in order to be able to contact you, respond to any questions or suggestions you may send us, and send you electronic commercial communications regarding initiatives, programmes, events or activities either organised by the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation or Barcelona Mobile Ventures, S.L., a subsidiary of the Foundation. If you do not wish to receive electronic commercial communications from Barcelona Mobile Ventures, S.L., you may notify us at any time via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your details will be stored in a file called “Contactos” (hereinafter the “File”), duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency and for which we have implemented the appropriate safety measures as per the provisions of the LOPD and the RLOPD. The purpose of storing your personal data is to manage our relationship with you, inform you of the activities, initiatives or programmes we organise, respond to any questions, doubts or suggestions you may send us, send you electronic commercial communications, evaluate any improvement actions and, ultimately, offer you high-quality service.
Therefore, by providing your personal details on this “Newsletter Signup Form”, you are giving your express consent for that information to be stored by us in the aforementioned File.

In this regard, you hereby agree to hold us harmless of any liability if said ARCO rights are exercised from the email address listed in our file as long as a copy of your valid national identity card or passport is provided.
Your details shall be corrected or cancelled within a period no greater than ten (10) business days from the date of your request. Cancelling your details will lead to them being blocked and preserved only for public administration agencies, courts or judges, in order to comply with any possible liabilities arising from their processing, for the duration of their limitation period and after which they must be duly cancelled.
We understand our responsibility and ensure you that we comply with the obligation of secrecy regarding any data you provide.
Cessation of Use
