The future of reskilling: Updating talent to the digital era

November 5th, 2019
9:30h -11:30hh
Movistar Centre

One of the main challenges of the jobs market in the digital revolution is the growing gap between the limited supply of people with technology skills and the growing demand for candidates to fill this sort of positions. To find a solution, all of the stakeholders must get involved, from the administration to universities, training centres and companies.

The session approaches the topic from a business perspective, discussing how reskilling can have an impact on this scarcity of qualified candidates by giving current employees the skills the organisation needs. The training centres will also explain the areas of knowledge and key skills new professionals need in today’s market.

Steve Boese, an international expert in Human Resources, will present the opportunities for global talent management, offer points of view from the US market and propose a way to anticipate the new needs of a digitalised market.
